Soteria at Work's mission is to provide transitional job opportunities to people who face significant obstacles to employment. It includes countywide deconstruction and reclamation services that contribute to sustainability within the community. The organization gives previously incarcerated men the opportunity to reclaim their lives as they build job skills and rejoin the workforce.

Go behind the scenes at the woodworking shop to catch a glimpse of the handcrafted pieces they create from salvaged and reclaimed wood.

"Having been incarcerated is much like the old, chipped, and broken wood that we salvage. We work to reclaim our lives as we transform wood from something discarded into something new - something beautiful and useful - that has purpose."
